Ashvale Legal is a veteran-owned law firm based in South Jordan, Utah, built on a simple belief — that every person deserves honest legal counsel, clear answers, and an attorney who treats them with dignity. We serve individuals, families, and businesses across the southwest Salt Lake County corridor, with a focus on estate planning, business law, probate, family law, and criminal defense.
This is not a firm built around volume or billable hours. Christopher R. Topham, J.D., M.B.A.
Christopher Topham is the founder and principal attorney of Ashvale Legal, PLLC. He holds both a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration, a combination that shapes how he approaches every client matter. Legal challenges rarely exist in isolation from financial and personal ones, and having fluency in both law and business means clients receive counsel that accounts for the full picture. Before practicing law, Christopher served in the United States military for 19 years, an experience that instilled the values Ashvale Legal is built on; accountability, clarity, and genuine commitment to the people you serve.
Christopher is a licensed member of the Utah State Bar and practices exclusively in Utah. His primary focus is estate planning, an area where he has built deep expertise and continues to pursue advanced credentials. He is based in the Daybreak community in South Jordan, the same neighborhood many of his clients call home, and is committed to building a firm that reflects the diversity and character of the community around it.
